Dr. Amy L. Nicholas

Dr. Nicholas grew up in Manchester, New Hampshire. She moved to Washington, DC for college in 2001 and has practiced in the District of Columbia, Maryland, and Virginia area since 2013.

Dr. Nicholas’s areas of interest include cataract surgery, glaucoma diagnosis and management, and diseases of the ocular surface including pterygia and dry eyes. She uses advanced technology, including toric and multifocal intraocular lenses and the femtosecond laser, to help her patients achieve excellent vision after cataract surgery. In her free time, she enjoys biking, cooking, and traveling with her husband and three children.
